Dee Caffari, MBE

Dee is the first woman in history to sail single-handed, non-stop around the world against the prevailing winds and currents. Since Dee's six month solo voyage in 2006, Dee has continued to push her personal limits by taking up adventure racing, running a marathon and training to sail a completely new type of boat - the Open 60. She will compete in the Vendee Globe in 2008 and attempt to become the first woman to sail solo non-stop in both directions around the world. read more...

An explorer, diver, author and TV presenter, Monty is Britain's very own Ocean Adventurer. A former Royal Marine Officer, a marine biologist, and winner of Channel 4's 'Superhuman', Monty has led teams through some of the toughest terrains. Monty has presented numerous TV series including Great Ocean Adventures (Channel 5) and is currently filming an exciting new series for the BBC. read more ....

Geoff Holt

Completing what he named his Personal Everest in 2007, Geoff became the first disabled sailor to circumnavigate Great Britain - a courageous feat of endurance that has inspired many. Paralysed from the chest down after diving into the sea at just 18yrs, Geoff is passionate about sailing and encouraging others to take up their own challenges. Hannah McKeand

Hannah currently holds the world record for the fastest solo trek to the South Pole without assistance (Dec 2006). Formerly a marketing manager in theatre, Hannah is an adventurer who has travelled extensively to remote regions around the world on land and sea. Her next challenge is to become the first woman to ski solo, unsupported to the North Pole - a feat that has been likened to climbing Everest without oxygen. read more ....

James Brickell

James has a passion for wild animals and has directed some of the most highly regarded UK presenters including Sir David Attenborough. A wildlife filmmaker at the prestigious BBC Natural History Unit, James's latest work includes capturing snake behaviour for Life in Cold Blood (BBC1, 2008) and revealing some genuine world-firsts on film. Despite working with dangerous animals, so far he has escaped with just a small piranha bite. read more ....
