Oliver Dudley is an everyman adventurer who has taken on world records in ocean rowing and ultra-distanced running - despite being a novice. He does not call himself an athlete, rarely visits the gym, has no military training and no particular outdoor training or skills - but he's armed with an unshakeable passion, determination and self belief that ordinary people can do extraordinary things. If you 'think possible'.
In August 2009, when Oliver Dudley was one of four rowers attempting to break the record for rowing around Great Britain, they saw a plane crash into the Irish Sea. The crew raised the alarm, raced two miles to reach the pilot who was standing on the wing of a sinking plane, and thankfully saw the coastguard's helicopter successfully winch the pilot up to safety. Although they had to abandon their speed record attempt, the media attention helped raise awareness and funds for the male cancer charity Orchid.

In March 2009, Oliver Dudley helped organise and then completed 7 ultra marathons on 7 continents (having never run a marathon before). Sir Ranulph Fiennes praised the 777 challenge team calling it a 'great achievement - a success made all the more remarkable by their background as novice runners. This accomplishment demonstrates what can be done with proper planning, hard work and self belief.' Oliver was hospitalized and couldn't finish with his team mates within 7 days but extraordinarily, he still finished only 26 hours later.

Despite being a novice rower, in January 2008, Oliver Dudley was one of the crew on La Mondiale (rowing 2 hours on, 2 hours off for 33 days) who broke the 16 year old World Record for the fastest Atlantic row. This feat received great acclaim: not least because they did it in a second-hand boat and broke a record that had withstood 60 previous challenges.
Oliver's key theme is 'think possible' and this core belief is born of dramatic set backs (such as breaking his neck as a promising rugby union player) as well as his experience as an entrepreneur in property development. His 'think possible' philosophy is behind his astounding successes as a novice runner and rower. He has a particular passion for encouraging young people to make the most of opportunities. He tailors his talks and draws on his experiences about teamwork, personal leadership, embracing change and risk. Oliver Dudley is currently writing his first book 'Sensation Seeker'.
