Tarka made history when he completed Scott's iconic 1,795 mile Terra Nova route from the very coast of Antarctica to the South Pole and back with fellow Brit Ben Saunders.
Pushing the outer limits of physical and mental endurance the Scott Expedition is the longest polar man-haul in history. This achievement has been recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records.
Tarka has powerful lessons to share from this historic expedition about courage, survival, risk, teamwork, leadership and above all, motivation when things get very tough indeed.
'We absolutely enjoyed having Tarka at our event and have had nothing but great comments from attendees. It was really obvious that he tailored his talk to our messages and event, and that was very much appreciated. His presentation was interesting, he was a terrific speaker - it was a great experience.'
Tarka is an accomplished ultra-endurance athlete, a world-class explorer and acclaimed motivational speaker. Tarka also has a very successful career as a software developer and he enjoys the demands and challenges of his role as CTO.
